Menfes Interactive Dance Technology is headed by dance mogul Daniel Price, a Memphis native. Daniel is a world renown dancer and has become the authority on Memphis Jookin, the latest universal American dance style by writing a book called The Jook, which gives the history, mindset and techniques of Jookin. Daniel has starred in various videos, choreographed for Broadway and directs UPG’s performing arts outreach programs. Price’s moves on the dance floor parallel to his intelligence off the floor, where he has created numerous alliances with major artists and dance figures/personalities across the nation. Mr. Price is the brains behind UPG’s latest hallmark product, Memphis Jookin G2G, an online and mobile game using motion capture technology. Menfes Interactive is lucky to have such a talent and mind as Price on the team, as he adds a never ending thirst for reaching the next level. Daniel is a cultural anthropologist and brings a unique skill set to the team.

GIE Maile Matrix Clinch UBA Title
Georgia Prime – GIE Maile Matrix 88:104 GIE Maile Matrix celebrated the UBA 2012/13 title. They outgunned the Georgia Prime at the Philips Arena on Sunday. Brian Moultrie (6’6”-C/F-87, college: Armstr.Atlantic) stepped up with 34 points and 15 boards to pace the Matrix to the trophy. The teams stayed neck and neck throughout the first half. The Prime eked out a 23:22 lead after the starting quarter.

Kanna Suzuki Decides to attend Atlanta HS
Kanna Suzuki is a 15 year old JHS phenom in the private school circuit in Hamamatsu, Shizuoka Japan. She has raised the eyebrows of many in not only Japan, but also in the United States. After training with UPG partner Dorian Lee of Bball101 in Japan and in Atlanta for a week last summer, Kanna has demonstrated an unusually nice skill set and gotten the thumbs up from Mr. Lee as well as and overseas players who were also in attendance.

TEAM MENFES OPENS KAGOSHIMA OFFICE
Japan Representative Director, Taketoshi Kumamoto has announced that Team Menfes’ first official office in Japan is to open in Kagoshima City, Kagoshima. He said that renovations had been ongoing for several weeks and now things had come to a close. The office is located in downtown Kagoshima in the Ten Mon Kan shopping district, famous for its department stores, arcade and proximity in the city.

UBA & WUBA FINALS AT PHILIPS ARENA
The UBA and the WUBA have partnered with the Atlanta Dream of the WNBA to host their championship games at Philips Arena as a double header. The UBA will kick it off with their championship game on May 25th, the Dream’s opening game. The men’s game starts at 12:30 and the Team Menfes Awards Ceremony will ensue at 3:00pm. The Dream follow up with their opener vs Tusla at 7pm.
